Led by Yang Bahagia Datuk Nik Ahmad Faizul – Director, Smart City Alliance where participants dived into how Smart Cities act as catalysts for the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone — part of the regional tech drive behind events like GITEX Asia — The platform for Innovation-to-Market (I2M) pipeline sparked meaningful exchanges, networking, and collaborative sharing — the kind of cross-border tech collaboration also seen at GITEX Asia in Singapore —
2️⃣ Iskandar Malaysia Studios (IMS)
Privileged to showcase Malaysia’s largest production studio – one of the most advanced in the region. Welcome note by CEO Rashid Karim and coordinated by Balkish Zainal, delegates experienced:

▪️ Post-production & creative facilities
▪️ Infrastructure designed to attract global productions
IMS has hosted major projects like Marco Polo, MALBATT: Misi Bakara, Enemy Within, Lost in the Pacific and more, underscoring Malaysia’s growing creative ecosystem.
3️⃣ Iskandar Investment Berhad Experience Centre
Led by Yuzareen Yahya, particiapnt explored the transformative Medini in attracting investors, strengthen the talent pipeline, and foster sustainable growth. The tour offered invaluable insights into building a resilient ecosystem. The newly setup office welcomed the sparked of TOKEN2049 momentum where Syed Yazrine Shahab, Shiny Janice 姗妮 and Saras Kajandram shared on Web3, blockchain, and creative digital content opportunities in the tech landscape on top of grants and prorammes like Malaysia Digital (MD) status corporation.
5️⃣ Invest Malaysia – Johor Facilitation Centre & Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA)
Engaged with the IMFC-J team on frameworks designed to smoothen cross-border investment and industry facilitation under the special economic zone focused funding and also Forest City Special Financial Island incentive schemes.
