Launching of the New Lamborghini NFT Collection on VeVe

Lamborghini Huracan

The digital collectibles will feature the iconic luxury sports car brand’s Huracan STO model with varying rarity traits.

VeVe, a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, has announced a collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini to create digital collectibles of its iconic sports cars.

The NFTs, which will be listed on VeVe on February 19, will include the Huracan STO model with a variety of rarity traits. Collectors can display their NFTs in the app’s virtual showrooms, share them on their VeVe social feeds, and use augmented reality (AR) to view and “drive” their car on real-world streets.

Dan Crothers, co-founder of VeVe, said that he is excited to give Lamborghini fans a new way to experience their favorite automobile, and that the collection will help onboard sports car fans to Web3.

“Owning, or even simply driving, a Lamborghini is many people’s dream,” Crothers said. “The great thing about our community of passionate collectors is that they simply enjoy collecting, but we also hope that this will inspire car enthusiasts to enter the world of digital collectibles as well.”

Lamborghini has previously released “Epic Road Trip” NFTs, and it isn’t the only luxury automaker to venture into Web3. Porsche released a series of NFTs featuring its flagship 911 model last month, which met with setbacks and an outpouring of criticism from creators for the brand’s seemingly “rushed” Web3 strategy.
