KuCoin announced in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, on October 21, 2026, that it has expanded KuCoin TradFi, giving eligible users access to contracts referencing U.S., Hong Kong and South Korean equities, metals and other commodities. According to the crypto platform, the offering now comprises more than 170 perpetual contract pairs across eight categories.
The expansion follows the March 2026 introduction of Stock Index Perpetual Contracts and continues KuCoin’s rollout of traditional asset-linked derivatives for eligible users. Available contracts reference technology and semiconductor businesses including Tesla, NVIDIA, Micron and SanDisk, as well as indices, ETFs and commodities such as crude oil, natural gas, copper and silver.
KuCoin said the broader selection offers exposure to regional markets and themes spanning AI, semiconductors, energy and metals. Users can take long or short positions in response to company earnings, technology investment and commodity cycles, subject to the relevant product terms and eligibility requirements.
The contracts settle in USDT and trade 24/7. KuCoin said this lets users manage positions and react to events outside traditional exchange hours using a familiar futures interface.
For eligible users at VIP1 and above, KuCoin’s Unified Trading Account (UTA) supports TradFi futures within a common framework for funds, margin and risk management. The company said this reduces the need to transfer funds between separate trading accounts.
UTA holders can also put KCUSD toward margin for supported TradFi positions while eligible holdings continue to earn rewards under the applicable product rules. KuCoin said this allows more flexible use of capital without requiring holders to redeem or convert KCUSD first.
The company described the expansion as part of KuCoin 5.0’s aim to combine trading, asset management and global market opportunities on a single platform. It said the broader asset range, unified account management, flexible margin use and transparent trading mechanisms support its “Trust, Built-in.” initiative. KuCoin added that it plans to continue developing a more connected platform offering users greater flexibility, efficiency and control.
