Finloop Finance Technology Holding Limited announced on October 16 that it has supported the issuance of what it describes as the first tokenised note product to allow subscriptions, redemptions and interest payments in HKDAP. The Hong Kong dollar stablecoin is issued by Anchorpoint Financial Limited, according to the company announcement. Finloop, an AI-driven wealth technology platform, said the product is offered to professional investors to improve onchain cash and liquidity management and provide greater flexibility in digital wealth management.
Two Finloop subsidiaries supported the transaction. Finloop Finance Limited, which the release identifies as a Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)-licensed financial institution and an authorised HKDAP distributor, offers subscription, redemption, exchange, trading and settlement services for the stablecoin. Finloop Finance Technology Services Limited acted as the tokenisation agent, supplying the technology service.
Fosun International Asset Management Limited serves as investment adviser to the product issuer. Drawing on its global asset allocation experience and risk management capabilities, it will advise on investment strategy and asset allocation, Finloop said.
The company said the note widens HKDAP’s onchain use cases and illustrates how a regulated stablecoin can support a broader range of investment and wealth management activities.
Finloop CEO Cai Hua described support for HKDAP subscriptions to a tokenised note as a key step in bringing real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation and stablecoins into commercial use. He said the company aims to give eligible investors a clearer, more efficient process and a better cash management experience across subscriptions, redemptions and the receipt of returns. Cai said Finloop would continue using its tokenisation services and wealth technology capabilities to help regulated stablecoins serve the real economy.
Dominic Maffei, Anchorpoint’s CEO and co-founder, said tokenisation’s value comes from enabling assets to function within a fully digital financial ecosystem, beyond creating digital versions of traditional assets. He said the transaction shows how HKDAP can support a tokenised note throughout its lifecycle, including subscriptions, redemptions and payment distributions. Maffei said Anchorpoint looks forward to further collaboration with Finloop to support institutional cash and liquidity management and a wider range of real-world financial applications.
Finloop said it will keep working with ecosystem partners on RWA tokenisation and digital capital market infrastructure. It also plans to explore uses for HKDAP and related wealth management products in institutional capital allocation, transaction payments and collateral. The company aims to help regulated stablecoins progress from pilots to broader institutional adoption and develop a replicable model connecting regulated tokenised assets with economic activity.
