We are pleased to announce the kickoff of ABCDE Hacker Camp, the first Asian ZK Hacker Camp organised by ABCDE Capital. From July 15th to September 15th, 2023, the 2-month program aims to explore the new frontier of ZK.
Here’s what happens during the two months of ABCDE Hacker Camp:
The overall goal of ABCDE Hacker Camp is to help ZK developers kick off their crypto journey and build ideas from scratch. The program is dedicated to establishing an inclusive community focused on open cryptography, ZKP application, and ZKP research. It is a two-month hybrid program comprising the ZK curriculum, ZK Hackathon, and Demo Day.
ABCDE has partnered with Starkware, 0xParc, and BeWater to assist ZK builders in reaching larger communities and resources during the ZK Hacker Camp.
StarkWare Industries is an Israeli software company that specialises in cryptography. It develops zero-knowledge proof technology that compresses information to address the scalability problem of the blockchain and works on the Ethereum platform.
The 0xPARC Foundation promotes application-level innovation on Ethereum and other decentralized platforms. Our primary areas of focus are Research and development, Open-source tools and infrastructure, Education, and ecosystem development.
BeWater is the ultimate builder community based on the SOP management system we built for open innovation campaigns, including hackathons, design contests, demo day, and more. It serves cutting-edge fields and also connects traditional industries. BeWater engages builders with different skill sets to build a better future together.
Central to the program is world-renowned advisers, a rigorous and innovative study of global ZK applications, and a hands-on exploration of coding and entrepreneurship. Confirmed speakers include Gnana Lakshm from Starkware, Jason Morton from 0xParc, Yi Sun from Axiom, Shumo Chu from Poseidon ZKP, etc.

Details of the ZK curriculum, ZK Hackathon and Demo Day are below:
The curriculum will cover core ZK topics including zkVM Cairo/Starknet, zkML in practice, and ZK-based coprocessor for Ethereum, etc.
In addition to a competition-wide Hackathon, ABCDE will have prizes across different sectors that epitomise the growing Web 3 ecosystems — Mobile, DeFi, Payments, Web3 Consumer, Tools + Infrastructure, and Gaming.
Outstanding teams can receive a total grant of $50,000 and investment from ABCDE. The Winning projects may present on the DemoDay at the ABCDE Singapore office during Token2049.
