BingX EU (MEGE zweite GmbH) announced on October 14, 2026 that it has obtained a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA or MiCAR) licence from Austria’s Financial Market Authority (FMA). The company said the authorization will enable it to offer regulated crypto services across 29 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA), subject to ongoing passporting arrangements.
In its announcement, BingX EU described the licence as a major step in its European expansion, giving EEA users access to digital asset services within a unified regulatory framework focused on transparency, security and investor protection.
The company said the authorization reflects its long-term commitment to responsible growth in Europe. As digital assets become more closely integrated with the financial system, BingX EU sees regulatory clarity as essential to building user confidence, supporting institutional participation and enabling sustainable industry development. Its regulated European entity plans to provide compliant crypto services for the changing needs of retail and institutional users across the EEA.
Daniel Lai, Chief Executive Officer of BingX EU, said the company’s priority is to give European users a trusted, locally regulated trading experience. He said operating under MiCAR would provide a clear framework that builds confidence and supports the long-term development of Europe’s digital ecosystem. Lai added that this framework would help the company combine innovation with the security, transparency and accountability expected by European users and institutions. He said BingX EU believes this foundation can support a more accessible, sustainable environment for digital asset adoption across the region.
BingX EU said it will continue working with Austria’s FMA and other European regulators as it prepares to launch regulated services across the EEA. The company reiterated its commitment to Europe’s regulatory framework and to secure, transparent and compliant access to digital asset services.
